PA Fishing Licenses – Non-Resident Tourist
In 1935, the first Non-Resident Tourist fishing license was offered and was good for three consecutive days of fishing. At $1.50, it was a cheaper alternative than purchasing a full season non-resident license. In 1948, the tourist license was extended to five continuous days of fishing. The early tourist licenses are diffucult to find. I know of only a handful of 1936’s and the one seen here is the only one I have ever seen that has the existing paperwork. I have seen examples of all the buttons except the 1935. I am always looking to add missing licenses to my collection.
